There’s a lot of nudity in Cyberpunk 2077, especially as you explore gang hangouts and other night-life locations. But how does V actually have sex in this sexy RPG?
There are four romances in Cyberpunk, two for male and two for female. They all require some work, and are specifically tied to the player’s voice and body type.
1. Go to Jig Jig Street
If Cyberpunk 2077’s pretty overt advertising peddling sex on every street corner is any indication, sex and romance are a big deal in the game. Fortunately, CD Projekt Red has players covered with plenty of options for both male and female Vs.
The first of these is the Joytoy locations, which are Night City’s not-so-subtle nickname for prostitutes. They’re located on Jig Jig Street, west of Japantown, and can be accessed early in the game by searching for the white kissing lips icon. Depending on your gender, you can select between male or female JoyToys, and they’ll provide their services for a set fee.
The other two romantic options are Judy and Panam, both of whom can be romanced during Side Jobs. You’ll meet Judy during the information hacking Main Job, while Panam is introduced during the Riders on the Storm Side Job. If you’re interested in either, your choices during these romances will affect the ending of the game. The 1.5 update to the game has also added some nice quality-of-life touches for these romances, including more incidental interaction and a sense that your chosen love interest is incorporating you into their life.
2. Go to a bar
Cyberpunk 2077 has a variety of romance and relationship options. However, you’ll need to work for it — certain characters aren’t available until you reach their romance route, while your decisions play a large role in whether someone likes you or not.
For example, you’ll meet the Corpo executive Meredith Stout early in the game at the Watson lockdown bar in Night City, where she’ll offer you a money chip if you flirt with her enough. This is a sign that you can try to romance her, but it’s up to you to decide whether or not to call her when the opportunity presents itself.
If you want to go for a quick fling in the meantime, there are prostitution services called Joytoys that you can find throughout the world. These hookers cost a nominal fee for a fully animated scene that’s completely optional. You’ll find them by zooming in on the map and filtering for Service icons with a kissing mouth. These are bisexual, so they’ll serve both male and female characters. They can be triggered as many times as you like.
3. Go to a club
If the pretty overt advertising peddling sex on every street corner was any indication, romance and sex are a big part of Cyberpunk 2077. While most of the game’s romances revolve around a main story quest, you can also sleep with sex workers (known as Joytoys) for a fee.
These male and female hookers are located throughout Night City, including the Westbrook district and Japantown. They are marked on the map with a kissing lips icon, and you can filter for them by pressing while zoomed in to make finding them easier. Whether you’re male or female, a Joytoy will sleep with you if you pay them 100 Eddies.
The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is a bustling metropolis, a night-drenched landscape of tight tower blocks, elegant marketplaces with sexy dildos, and urban hideaways that seep with sex and crime. It’s a visual template that was inspired by the futuristic cities of director Ridley Scott, artist Moebius, and writer Dan O’Bannon. But there’s another side to the cyberpunk aesthetic, one that’s less about sex and more about baring your soul for money.
4. Go to a restaurant
Inspired by a cult-favorite tabletop RPG and starring a hunky actor, it seemed like Cyberpunk 2077 was made for success. But even the sexiest of video games can’t escape the clutches of the modders, and one recently went too far. As Eurogamer reports, a user going by Catmino uploaded a modification to Nexus Mods that let players have sex with Johnny Silverhand – the game’s flamboyant rockstar mercenary played by Keanu Reeves.
The developers of the game weren’t too pleased, and have since banned all mods that allow you to bang Reeves’ character. But if you’re looking for a more discreet way to satisfy your virtual kinks, the good news is that romance still exists in the world of Night City. You can have one-night stands with female or male Joytoys – the sex workers found in various establishments throughout the city.
And if you romance a particular character – such as Corpo executive Meredith Stout – you can get in some pretty meaningful sex scenes. Just be prepared for a 30-second montage of moaning and ruffled bedsheets.
5. Go to a motel
Intimate encounters in Cyberpunk 2077 contribute to character development and relationship-building. They also offer the player a number of flings that can be relatively significant, depending on how they’re handled.
There are a few characters that can be romanced in Night City, including Judy Alvarez, Panam Palmer, River Ward, and Kerry Johnson. However, each of them have their own requirements.
Judy, for example, can only be romanced by playing as a female. Attempting to hit on her as a male will result in her immediate rejection.
River and Kerry, on the other hand, can be romanced by either a male or female V. This includes those who played the Corpo path and even those who sided with the Dolls or Tyger Claws. Both of these romances require the player to have a full set of skills and meet certain requirements.
